Couples Counseling 

Relationships can get stuck in repetitive patterns. I help create a safe, nurturing, nonjudgmental environment for the couples I work with. I believe that making a decision to pursue counseling takes great courage. I will help you establish coping skills, build resiliency, increase your sense of wellness as well as attain and maintain change. My aim is for us to work together to find a way of changing life patterns that may keep you stuck or unable to work out particular couple’s issues. By enabling a particular kind of conversation about the things that matter to you, and the difficulties which you may be experiencing, we can work together to gain a deeper understanding of you and your partner. I provide a collaborative environment to explore any challenges or barriers which may influence each couple and help them establish goals that can enhance their interpersonal relationships and support healthy emotional functioning.  I will help you to explore your individual backgrounds, beliefs, thoughts, behaviors, unhealthy patterns that may be impacting your relationship in a positive or negative way. Immediate and pressing problems will be addressed while developing strategies to protect and enhance the long-term health and happiness of your relationship.
